This application includes a mission statement and buyer
agreement. The "mission is to grow and distribute to Indiana
landowners high quality plant materials for conservation plantings.
Conservation plantings include plantings for timber, windbreaks,
wildlife food and habitat, watershed and soil protection,
reclamation and education." A table listing trees and their
light and soil drainage needs, ecological values, and other
information is also available from IDNR.

prairie plantings. It mentions seed mixes and the importance of
using ecotypes that originate in the northeast parts of the tall
